Looking forward to the 60-years anniversary of Liberation Day Ha Noi – the capital of Viet Nam (October 10, 1954 – October 10, 2014) and the 10-years anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneur’s Day (October 13, 2004 – October 13, 2014), on October 8, Ha Noi Small and Medium Enterprises Association (HASMEA) in collaboration with Hanoi Industry and Trade Department organizes the conference "The role of entrepreneurs, enterprises in the construction and development of the capital".
The participants include Mr. Dinh Hanh, Former Vice Chairman of People’s Committee of Hanoi city, Honorary Chairman of HASMEA; Mr. Hoang Van Dung, Permanent Vice Chairman of Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI); Mr. Phi Ngoc Chung, Permanent Vice Chairman of HASMEA; members of HASMEA; leader representation of departments, boards and typical entrepreneurs, businesses of Ha Noi city.

Sponsoring the conference in position of Permanent Vice Chairman of HASMEA, Mr. Phi Ngoc Chung states the process of the construction and development of the capital’s economy over last 60 years, consults members of the enterprise, entrepreneurs presenting about the purpose of the conference, and shares the success of the business as well as the significant contribution in constructing and developing Hanoi capital in last years.
Mr. Phi Ngoc Chung particularly emphasizes on policies and measures which Government as well as of Hanoi city in last years promulgated to support enterprises such as financial policy, producing policy, innovating policy, expanding market policy, etc.

At the conference, the representatives of members of the HASMEA come together to discuss and share experiences in order to solve the difficulties, to promote production, business and trade in this context, to share the experiences in approaching and implementing the supporting policies of the state and Hanoi city.
After hearing the share of the businesses, Mr. Dinh Hanh has encouraged and exchanged with the businesses. Mr. Dinh Hanh said that the small and medium enterprises are the pride of the capital because of currently accounting for 96% of all businesses and contribute 46% to national GDP. In next year, Vietnam will become further integrated into the world, so Mr. Dinh Hanh offers an advice for businesses that they need a comprehensive innovation from innovating technology to changing modes of governance in the quick and scientific direction to increase competitiveness.
